Bookings for the Cottage

You can now book the cottage online using our secure booking system. Check availability using the search widget below or go direct to our online booking page where you can view our availability calendar and make a booking.

The weekly price for the cottage in 2023 is from £350 to £525, start day is Saturday but is flexible from November to March.

Short Breaks from November to March excluding Christmas and New Year are £270 for 3 nights.

Dogs

The charge for a dog is £15 per week.  Your dog should not be left in the cottage unattended and will usually need to be on a lead when walking on the fell because of the sheep.

Terms:

A deposit of one third of the hire charge is payable within 3 days of making the booking and the balance of the hire charge is due one month before the holiday. Please make cheques payable to Mrs Linda Nicholson or email info@birchbank.co.uk for online banking details.

Cancellation

• Hire charges will only be refunded if the hire period is relet.
• Refunds are subject to a £25 administration charge.

Camping Site

Please call 01229 885277 or email info@birchbank.co.uk for availability and booking. Online booking is available on www.campsites.co.uk but some pitches may not be available on the www.campsites.co.uk website.

Tariff 2022

Tent/Caravan including one car and up to 4 people	£18 per night
Extra Adult	£5 per night
Extra child or car	£2 per night
Electric Hook up	£5 per night
Dogs	£1 per night
Backpackers (no car)	£5 per person per night

Terms

A deposit of £18.00 is payable for bookings for Bank Holidays, school holidays and for more than one pitch, the remainder is payable on arrival.  Sorry we do not take card payments.

Booking is recommended for Bank Holidays and high season ie July and August

Bookings which are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice must be paid for.

Minimum Stay of two nights for Bank Holidays.
